Community Involvement

Our 2025 “Hot Mechanics” calendar is more than just a fun fundraiser, it’s a celebration of the hardworking technicians who keep our community moving. Featuring local mechanics from shops around Drayton Valley, this calendar puts a playful spotlight on the faces behind the wrenches while raising funds for two incredible causes: Cause for Critters and the DV Food Bank. Each month showcases a different shop and mechanic, photographed right in their element. Thank you to everyone who posed, participated, and supported this one-of-a-kind community project! Every month, we celebrate the amazing educators in our community with our What I Love About My Teacher pizza parties! Students are invited to share why their teacher is awesome — whether it’s their kindness, creativity, or the fun they bring to the classroom. Each month, we surprise one lucky class from each elementary school with a pizza party to recognize their teacher and spread some extra joy.

We’re proud to partner with Drayton Valley Boston Pizza, who supplies the delicious pizzas, and the Drayton Valley Thunder, who help deliver the fun right to the classroom! It’s our way of saying thank you to the incredible teachers shaping the future.

Each fall, we partner with Frank Maddock High School’s mechanic shop to give students a hands-on automotive experience. We provide a vehicle that needs repairs, and the students take the lead in diagnosing and fixing the issues, with our support for the parts and materials. Once the repairs are complete, our certified technicians inspect the vehicle, and it’s then placed on our lot for resale. It’s a fantastic way to help students build valuable skills while preparing for future careers in the trades!
